Isle of Palms - Jan. 09

We took a short family vacation to the Isle of Palms for MLK weekend. Jeff works for this guy doing odd jobs and instead of paying Jeff for the work he does, we get to stay at his beach front condo for only $60 (the cleaning fee). We have gone several times and it is such a blessing. This year we took Nathan. This trip to the beach was so much fun for Nathan. We went to the beach back in July, but he was so little, he really didn't know what was going on. Enjoy some pictures . . .

When we go to the Isle of Palms we have our favorite places to go. Most of them are places to eat - Boulevard Diner, Shem Creek Bar and Grill, and Kickin' Chicken. We also try to go downtown and we always go to the aquarium (It's free for teachers). Nathan LOVED watching the fish.
