Juliana's Baptism

On June 12, 2011 Juliana was baptized by Sinclair Ferguson at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC.  Not growing up with a Presbyterian background, infant baptism was new to me.  I came to understand that it is a symbol of God's covenant, like an engagement ring -symbolizing a promise, and naming her into His family.  Does that mean that she already has salvation?  No!  We pray everyday that she will come to know the Lord at an early age as her Lord and Savior.  We are claiming that promise that she is a part of God's family and He will call her to Himself one day.  Our prayer is that we are breathing out Christ in our home, so that she can breathe in His sweet fragrance and become a follower of Him.
